A good image can convey so many things about your school to prospective parents, showcasing your values through school photography and offering insights into the best aspects of your institution.

As much as you would probably love to have every child included in the images for your event photography, this obviously will not always be possible. I can work around children who do not have photo permission in a way that ensures they are not excluded from any lessons.

Ideally, a planned route around the school will allow for a 10-15 minute session at each class for our school photography. However, being flexible is key to ensure we capture some special moments! A half day should be sufficient for at least 100 images, as long as there are no long delays.

It works tremendously well if you plan to include interesting and varied activities on the day, such as art, sports, and music lessons. School photography sessions, including maths carousel lessons, provide an overview of the school, alongside writing activities. Additionally, consider incorporating some group activities for the day.

Letting everyone know that a photographer is coming can be quite beneficial, especially in the context of school photography. It’s important for everyone to understand that the goal is to showcase you at your very best. The best way to achieve this is by simply doing what you normally do and ignoring the photographer. We really won't mind! This approach works well, allowing for natural and genuine moments to shine through.

A guide around the school is essential for various reasons, including ensuring I don't get lost and identifying those without permission, such as those not wearing stickers. This is particularly important during events where unexpected delays may occur, and the guide can help move me to the next location.
